Mamata Banerjee’s Troubles Mounting: Mamata Banerjee’s troubles are increasing, now FIR registered in this matter

New Delhi. Ever since Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee lost the elections, she is facing new problems one after the other. A new FIR has been registered against Mamata Banerjee. A complaint has been filed against Mamata Banerjee at the Netaji Nagar police station in Kolkata over comments allegedly made by her at a political rally during the 2026 assembly election campaign. Complainant Tushar Kanti Das alleged that Mamata Banerjee had made inflammatory statements and there was a danger of deteriorating communal harmony. Legal action has been demanded in the complaint.

The complainant says that Mamata Banerjee’s comments can create fear, insecurity and tension among different communities and this can have a negative impact on public harmony and the democratic environment. Earlier, an FIR has also been lodged against Mamata Banerjee by lawyer Rinki Singh Chattopadhyay in Siliguri Cyber Crime Police Station. The complaint alleges that Mamata Banerjee, in her speech during a TMC protest meeting in Kolkata on June 2, 2026, had raised questions on the role of the Union Home Ministry by referring to the murder of Bangladeshi national Usman Hadi.

The complainant alleges that Mamata Banerjee made statements encouraging radicals, ignoring the issue of national security. Apart from this, another FIR is registered against Mamata Banerjee in which she is accused of making objectionable statements against Hindus during an Eid program in 2025. The complainant says that he had already tried to lodge an FIR but due to the TMC government at that time, no action was taken on his complaint.
