Aliganj Fire Incident: CM Yogi Adityanath met the injured of Aliganj fire, visited the incident site, consoled the families of the deceased.
New Delhi. After the fire incident in Aliganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left his Aligarh tour midway and returned to the capital and first went to the incident site. After this Yogi reached KGMU Trauma Center where the injured in the fire are being treated. After reaching there, Yogi met the injured and talked to the doctors about their health and instructed for proper treatment. Along with this, the Chief Minister also consoled the families of those who died in this incident. The CM assured the family members of the victim that no person responsible for the incident will be spared. So far, 15 people have been confirmed dead in this tragic accident.

Yogi has instructed the administrative officials to complete the investigation as soon as possible and submit the report. Besides, instructions have also been given to check the security arrangements etc. in all such buildings. Union Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh has also expressed grief over this heart-wrenching incident. He told that I am reaching Lucknow from Delhi. I will take stock of the situation after reaching there. Meanwhile, CMS Dr. Prem Raj Singh of King George Medical University Trauma Center said that 15 people had died when they were brought to the hospital. The bodies have been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem. 7-8 injured were also brought there. Two of them suffered minor injuries.

According to the doctor, a young man has suffered a spinal cord injury and is currently undergoing treatment. A girl has a leg injury and she is also being examined. The age of all the injured and deceased is around 25-27 years. Prima facie it is estimated that most of the deaths occurred due to suffocation. Many leaders including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, BSP Chief Mayawati, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav have expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in this horrific fire incident.
