He also said in the meeting with the officers that the aim is to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the actual beneficiaries. Also, to avail these schemes, the beneficiaries should also follow the health and education policy of the government.

According to the newspaper, in the coming time, government schemes of West Bengal may be attached with some conditions. Shubhendu Adhikari: Those families whose children were not given necessary vaccinations or were sent to study in madrassas instead of government schools, then they may be deprived of the schemes of the government. According to the news, CM Shubhendu Adhikari reiterated this after the review meeting in North Bengal. He said that non-citizens will not be given the benefits of government schemes. Shubhendu also said that necessary vaccination of children and following government policies are part of the eligibility for the schemes.
