New Delhi. Champat Rai’s first statement has come after resigning from the post of General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in the Ayodhya Ram Temple offering theft case. Champat Rai has written a letter to the devotees of Ram. In this, he termed the allegations leveled against him as absurd and said that for the time being I have maintained silence in this matter. After the final report of SIT comes, I will present my side on all the allegations, the whole truth will come out. In the meeting of Ram Mandir Trust held on Monday, Champat Rai’s resignation was accepted and trustee Krishna Mohan has been made interim general secretary in his place.

Champat Rai has posted a handwritten letter on his ex account. It is written that from June 7, 2026, various types of discussions are going on regarding the theft committed during the counting of donation box of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. Many people have made absurd allegations against me personally, I have maintained silence. The preliminary report of the SIT was presented in the meeting of the Temple Trust held on July 6. This report has now become public, although it was top secret. I assure all of you that after the final report of the SIT comes, I will give my answers on all the points being spread in sequence, the truth will come out. I was sent to Ayodhya by the organization in October 1991. My missionary life for 45 years has been like an open book wherever I have been.
