New Delhi. A luxury car Aston Martin, which was speeding at high speed in Hyderabad, hit a woman, resulting in her death. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Bharti Mukhi, who worked in a clothing store in Inorbit Mall in Madhapur area. While crossing the road near the mall, the woman was hit by a speeding car. It is alleged that the car was being driven by Lingamaneni Sanjush, 21 year old son of Rajya Sabha MP Lingamaneni Ramesh. Police have registered a case against the MP's son.

The accused's father is a Rajya Sabha MP from Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party and also a big businessman. After the incident, drunk and drive test and drug test of the accused were conducted. His blood samples were also taken and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for testing. The police has sent a notice to the accused. According to the police, this case falls under the category of a bailable offence, hence the accused has not been arrested yet. The Aston Martin car involved in the accident has been seized.

According to the FIR, the deceased Bharti had gone out of the mall at noon to have lunch with one of her colleagues. When both of them were returning to Inorbit Mall after having dinner and while crossing the road in front of the mall, a speeding car came and hit Bharti. After the accident, the co-worker of the deceased called the police and informed. The registration number of the car which caused the accident is TG-09-G-0666. Police are investigating the matter and CCTV footage around the incident site is being scrutinized.
