Amit Shah At 72nd Convocation Ceremony Of Gujarat Vidyapith: Amit Shah gave important life lessons to the students at the convocation ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapith.

New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the 72nd convocation of Gujarat Vidyapeeth today. During this, he gave important lessons related to life to the students. Shah said, after setting a goal in life, step out of the university campus and set this goal not for yourself but for the country, society, poor and people. If you have set goals for the society and the country, then the burden of victory and defeat will not be on you. No matter how many difficulties come in life, you will never feel disappointed. But if you set goals for yourself and your family, difficulties will lead to disappointment. I faced a lot of difficulties in my life but I never got disappointed and the only reason for that was that the goal for which the difficulties came and the goal to live the rest of my life was not for me.

Shah further said that a mind which is filled only with knowledge produces ego, whereas a mind which has wisdom along with knowledge produces both humility and wisdom. Shah told the students that you must see the 'National Education Policy 2020' once. Our new education policy is based on these five pillars – mother tongue, skills, multi-disciplinary learning (study of many subjects), Indian knowledge tradition and holistic personality development. In a way, Prime Minister Modi has brought the same education system for the youth that India has given to the world for centuries.

The Home Minister said that today is a precious moment of life for the 900 students sitting in front of me, but for me it is a bigger day than you because I have spent a lot of time in the library of Gujarat Vidyapeeth, have read many books sitting here. Never in my life had I imagined that I would ever attend the convocation ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapeeth as the chief guest.
