New Delhi. Accepting a major demand of BPSC aspirants, the Bihar government has decided to conduct the TRE-4 examination in a single phase. Along with this, 9 other important decisions have also been taken by the government in the interest of students. Announcing this in this context, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that the government has been serious about the demands of the students from the beginning. The government is always committed to the welfare of the students and their bright future. CM informed that the government has constituted an expert committee on examination reforms to give recommendations for improvements in various examinations. This committee constituted under the chairmanship of the judge of Patna High Court will also hear the complaints of students related to various examinations.
Apart from this, the government has started Vidyarthi Sahayog Portal and Vidyarthi Sahayog Shivir for quick resolution of students' problems and complaints. Through this, the problems of the students will be solved within 30 days. Let us tell you that for the last few days, students of BPSC and other competitive examinations in Bihar have been protesting in Gardnibagh, Patna. The demand of the candidates is that the TRE-4 exam should be conducted in only one phase and not in two, this demand has been accepted by the government. Apart from this, the other demand of the students is that minus marking should be abolished. The total seats should be increased according to the vacant posts and the candidates should get relaxation in age limit.
Just on August 24 itself, BPSC Exam Controller had clarified that the examination will be conducted in two phases (Pre and Mains) only. Also, negative marking will remain applicable. The government has invited applications for teacher recruitment to a total of 32,388 posts under BPSC TRE-4. The process of online application and fee payment will start from September 1, 2026. The last date for fee payment has been fixed as 29 September 2026 and the last date for online application has been fixed as 30 September 2026.
