New Delhi. Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra has reacted to his appointment as the first CEO of Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust, calling it a blessing from Lord Ram. He said, I am grateful to the selection committee, Shri Ram Mandir Trust and Lord Ram that I was selected for this responsibility. I will pray to God to give me the strength to fulfill my responsibility well. After 43 years of service to the nation in the Air Force, it is a blessing from Lord Ram to get the opportunity to serve Shri Ram Temple and Shri Ram devotees. On the other hand, there is an atmosphere of happiness in Jitendra Mishra's ancestral village located in Deoria. Relatives are distributing sweets.

These three names were discussed in the meeting for CEO

In the press conference held after the meeting of Ram Mandir Trust, Acting General Secretary Krishna Mohan said that among the three names proposed in today's meeting for the CEO, the names of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, Major General Sanjay Pratap Singh Vishwas Rao and Shruti Bhardwaj were named. ​

CEO Selection Committee Secretary Sameer Panda said that we had not specifically planned to select someone with military background, but the selection committee was asked to divide the candidates into six categories, defence, bureaucracy, private sector, banking, IT and others. Candidates with different professional backgrounds were considered, but ultimately Jitendra Mishra emerged as the best candidate because of his excellent work ethic, strong track record, and very good evaluation scores from the selection committee.
