It is being told that there has also been a big crack there. Due to which it has been taken to the dock for repairs. Whereas, the Indian Navy's warship INS Kolkata has not suffered any damage. This warship is currently deployed at sea.
The ship of Pakistan Navy is of 2600 tons. Whereas, INS Kolkata is about 7500 tonnes. The warships of the Indian Navy remain very strong. Pakistan's PNS Hunain ship was diverted dangerously close to INS Kolkata, stationed 240 km away from Oman, on Tuesday evening. The starboard part of the Pakistan Navy ship collided with the Indian Navy warship. India had expressed protest in this matter by summoning the Charge d'Affairs of Pakistan High Commission in Delhi to the Ministry of External Affairs. The Charge d'Affairs of the Indian High Commission in Pakistan has also expressed objection to the Foreign Ministry there.
There is a 1991 agreement between India and Pakistan regarding military activities. This agreement states that during any military activity, information will be given to each other and during that time the other side will have to take steps not to cause harm. The Pakistani ship violated this very thing written in Section 10 of the agreement. Earlier in the year 2012 also, a ship of Pakistan Navy had hit an Indian warship. After Operation Sindoor, there is a lot of tension between India and Pakistan. In such a situation, India has taken the incident of ship collision in the sea seriously. In this incident, the captain of the Indian warship also showed great restraint. Otherwise, if the Indian warship is in danger, its captain is free to take any action.
