India In Talks With Russia And Ukraine: India is in talks with both sides to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

New Delhi. India has once again supported diplomatic talks to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, India has always believed on this issue that dialogue and diplomacy is the way forward. Modi has said many times, this is not a time of war and no solution can be found on the battlefield. You will remember that when PM Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek, he had emphasized that now is the time to take steps towards ending the war instead of endless war. Supporting peace, India has held talks with both sides, Russia and Ukraine. Both Russia and Ukraine have appreciated India's peacekeeping efforts.

Jaiswal said, India is trying to help. India is in constant talks with both Russia and Ukraine on specific issues like the issue of security of ships in the Black Sea, addressing the immediate concerns of Russia and Ukraine regarding the export of grain and energy, and the possibility of non-attack. On the attacks on ships in the Black Sea area in the last two days, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that we condemn such attacks which pose a threat to commercial shipping and put the lives of our maritime community at risk. We reiterate our call for dialogue and diplomacy to reduce tensions and quickly restore peace in the region.

Four ships have been attacked in the Black Sea in two days-

First, the commercial ship MV Royad Mammadov was targeted. After that, the Togo-flagged Alfa Watan ship was attacked. Then there was an attack on MV ABLE which is a Palau flagged ship. The Liberian-flagged oil tanker Aframax Rio was also targeted.
