According to media reports, the government has further increased the security of Gyanesh Kumar in view of the intelligence input of the attack and the protests by the opposition. In view of the gathering of leaders and workers of the opposition alliance led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi, an additional 23,000 policemen and paramilitary forces have also been deployed in the capital till October 12.

50 security personnel are deployed under Z Plus security. Apart from policemen, these security personnel are also from paramilitary forces.
