Opposition's protest demanding resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, important meeting of INDIA alliance today

Tezzbuzz Desk- MPs of INDIA alliance will hold a meeting in the Constitution House of Parliament on October 9 at 3 pm. The opposition is preparing to protest for the fourth consecutive day on the issue of 'vote theft'. The opposition has also sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu.

Protests by opposition parties of INDIA alliance including Congress are continuing, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Opposition MPs are preparing to protest for the fourth consecutive day on Friday. Before this, there will be a meeting of the alliance in the Central Hall of the Constitution House of the Parliament at 3 pm, in which the further strategy will be discussed. Opposition parties have sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu. According to sources, Seva Teerth, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Vice President's residence and areas around the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah could be possible places for the demonstration.

Meanwhile, the security of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has been increased. They already have Z+ security, but now additional commandos have been included in the security arrangements. Following the previous protests by the opposition, Delhi Police has registered three FIRs. These include allegations like attacks on policemen, obstruction in government work, pushing and misbehavior. The names of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have also come up in these cases. On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi was detained after trying to open the barricade.

At the same time, BJP has rejected the opposition's allegations regarding SIR and 'vote theft'. BJP President Nitin Nabin targeted Rahul Gandhi, challenging him to resign and accusing him of having an anarchic mindset.
