New Delhi. India has responded bluntly to China's comments on Ladakh. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal once again reiterated that the Union Territory of Ladakh is an integral and inseparable part of India. This truth cannot be changed by the Chinese side's denial. As far as the press release of the Home Ministry of the Government of India which is being mentioned is concerned, it is clear in itself. It said that 28 places in the Union Territory of Ladakh have been identified with standard names on the official map of the Survey of India, and this has been done in consultation with the Ladakh Union Territory and local stakeholders.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said that the purpose of formally marking these places on the map of Ladakh Union Territory of 'Survey of India' is to ensure their correct identification and better information about them among the general public. Actually, China has opposed the naming of these places in Ladakh by India.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that India's decision is unilateral, which China does not accept. China alleged that the Union Territory of Ladakh was created illegally. Not only this, the Chinese spokesperson also said that these areas belong to China. Let us tell you that China keeps making similar meaningless claims from time to time regarding Arunachal Pradesh also. However, India has always rejected China's objection in clear words.
