Fine On Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann fined Rs 50,000 on his return from Paris, Aam Aadmi Party targeted the Center without giving the reason.

Chandigarh. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann had recently gone to Paris, France. Now Aam Aadmi Party Punjab's media in-charge Baltej Pannu has said that after returning from Paris, CM Bhagwant Mann was deliberately stopped for three hours at Delhi airport and a fine of Rs 50,000 was imposed on him. Pannu accused the BJP government at the Center that it does not miss any opportunity to humiliate Punjabiyat. However, the media in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party did not tell why this fine has been imposed on Bhagwant Mann.

Baltej Pannu said that the officers at the airport told Bhagwant Mann that there was a lot of pressure on him from above and that is why the fine was being taken. Pannu said that this proves that all this was done on orders from above. The media in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the Center treats Punjab like this at every level. Pannu said that for the first one and a half years, the Center kept the farmers sitting on the border of Delhi. Then Punjab funds were not released. He said that CM Bhagwant Mann was not even given permission to travel abroad because the BJP government was afraid that if he went abroad, he would bring investment and funds from there and take Punjab on the path of progress.

Pannu said that CM Bhagwant Mann could go on Paris tour after the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court. Where he launched Punjab's famous Rajma and white gram in the world's second largest food festival. Pannu also alleged that the Center was so indifferent towards Bhagwant Mann's visit that even the Consul General did not go to meet the CM. He said that when the Punjab CM reached Delhi airport, he was told that your luggage is arriving now. Then after three hours the goods were found and Bhagwant agreed after keeping them in the car, then the officer came running and handed over the receipt for the fine. Let us tell you that if Indians returning from abroad bring goods of value beyond the prescribed limit, then custom duty has to be paid. However, Aam Aadmi Party is not telling whether Bhagwant Mann had brought anything or not. Because if the fine receipt is issued incorrectly, it can be challenged legally.
