Action has been taken against Anant Singh and his wife on charges of involvement in anti-party activities and indiscipline. Several reasons have been given by JDU for taking action against Anant Singh, which include continuously disobeying the party's instructions for the past several days, using indecent and derogatory language towards the party's top leadership and working against the party's candidate in the recently concluded Legislative Council elections and campaigning in favor of the rival party's candidate. Let us tell you that Anant Singh had openly supported Jansuraj Party candidate Anuj Singh against JDU's MLC candidate Neeraj Singh and had sought votes in his favor.

Now, the very next day after the completion of elections, JDU has taken a tough stand and shown Anant Singh the way out of the party. Anant Singh's name is taken among the strong leaders of Bihar. He has been MLA from Mokama seat 6 times. Anant Singh had contested the assembly elections held last year while in jail and he also won.
