Romantic films have their own identity in Bollywood. These days there is a tremendous discussion about ‘Chand Mera Dil’. After a long wait, the title track of the film has been released, which has gained a strong hold on social media as soon as it is released. The song is being liked a lot especially among the youth and it is being counted among the most beautiful romantic songs of this year.
The pairing of Ananya Pandey and Lakshya Lalwani is being seen in the song. The video shows how love slowly blossoms between the two in college. Sometimes they ride together on the bike, and sometimes they see each other secretly. Both find happiness in small moments.
This song has been sung by Faheem Abdullah, while the music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar. While the lyrics of the song have been written by Amit Bhattacharya.
Faheem Abdullah said, “There is an innocent feeling in the song ‘Chand Mera Dil’, which attracted me towards this song. This song does not just talk about love, but also shows those small special moments which actually make love special. I tried to bring the same familiarity in my voice, so that every listener can connect with this song.”
Sachin-Jigar said, “Our aim was to create a song which will always be remembered, but at the same time it will sound new. We kept the song very simple, so that the emotions can be felt clearly and settle in the heart of the listener.”
If we talk about the film, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ depicts the story of two youth, who meet during college and gradually come closer to each other. Annaya Pandey is playing the character of ‘Chandni’ and Lakshya Lalwani is playing the character of ‘Aarav’ in the film. The chemistry of both is considered to be the strongest aspect of the story.
The story of the film shows the complexity of relationships along with love. While in the beginning everything seems beautiful and easy, later on the story takes many turns which change everyone’s life.
The film is directed by Vivek Soni, while it is produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. ‘Chand Mera Dil’ will be released in theaters worldwide on 22 May 2026.
