Hearing on Salman Khan’s petition postponed in Delhi High Court!
The film producers told the court that they have not yet received a copy of the entire petition filed by Salman Khan. He has been given only a copy of the application. On this, Justice Madhu Jain directed Salman Khan’s lawyer to ensure that a complete copy of the petition is provided to the other party.
In an earlier hearing, the court had issued notice to the film’s producer Amit Jani and other concerned parties and sought their response.
This entire controversy is related to the film ‘Blackbuck: The Battle for Legacy’, which is said to be based on the much talked about blackbuck hunting case related to Salman Khan. Salman Khan alleges that his name, image and personality have been used in this film without permission, which is a direct violation of his personality rights.
The petition states that the film’s poster contains elements that are directly similar to Salman Khan’s public identity, due to which the release, promotion and even digital streaming of the film should be banned.
Salman Khan had filed this petition against producer Amit Jani, Jani Firefox Films, director Bharat Srinate, Akshay Pandey and others associated with the project.
In the first look and teaser of ‘Blackbuck: Battle for Legacy’, the character inspired by Salman Khan has been named Ayaan Khan. Actor Kashif Iqbal Khan is playing the character of Ayaan Khan. The audience has seen his look, walking style and every gesture matching perfectly with Salman. Kashif Iqbal Khan was seen wearing the same bracelet as Salman wears. In such a situation, people are giving their opinions on social media.
