Kiren Rijiju addressed the ‘Developed India’ conference in Sri Vijayapuram on Sunday. During this, he talked about the achievements of the Central Government and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Andaman and Nicobar. Rijiju said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a big vision for Andaman and Nicobar. We are also working at our respective levels to fulfill it.”
He said that Andaman and Nicobar is a very attractive place, where wildlife and marine life have their own place, which no one can compete with. There is a law to maintain the environment here. Here, development is taking place without destroying the climate and the ecosystem. The Great Nicobar Project has been conceived keeping security in mind. People doing business here know how much potential there is in this area. There will be economic change here after the new project.
During this, he also targeted Congress. Rijiju said, “Some people are feeling pain after seeing India’s development. We too were expecting this from before.”
Without taking Rahul Gandhi’s name, Kiren Rijiju said, “I went diving here to understand the beauty, the fauna and the life here, but another person (Rahul Gandhi) went diving here to ruin the project. They did not come to promote this area but to take pictures to destroy it. This is absolutely not right and this kind of work should not happen in the country.”
Continuing his speech, the Union Minister said, “This is not a matter of joke. We have to take it seriously and see ‘Developed Andaman and Nicobar’ along with ‘Developed India’.”
He also said that quality tourists and good citizens should come to Andaman and Nicobar. Those who create ruckus and spread filth should not come here.
Kiren Rijiju appealed and said that Andaman-Nicobar has to be kept as the most beautiful place in the world. This area has to be developed and the values here also have to be protected.
