NDA leaders brainstorm in Lucknow, strategy ready to win assembly elections!
After the meeting, Uttar Pradesh government minister and BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, while talking to journalists, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is running the government with its NDA allies and all the parties have contested the elections together.
He said that the National President met party workers and officials in different groups and discussed various topics related to the organization. The instructions given by the party leadership in the meeting will be implemented with full devotion and all the workers will work together to disseminate BJP’s schemes, campaigns, government’s achievements and report card to the public.
Emphasizing on the working style of BJP, Uttar Pradesh Government Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that Bharatiya Janata Party is a cadre based party, which moves ahead on the strength of its dedicated workers. From the time of Jan Sangh till today, the basic principle of the party has been that the biggest strength of the organization is its workers. According to him, every BJP worker considers the party as his family and this feeling makes the organization stronger.
Om Prakash Rajbhar, head of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, said that the BJP national president has come to Uttar Pradesh for the first time after this responsibility and he held a meeting with all the allies of the NDA.
On the question of seat sharing, Nishad Party President and Minister Sanjay Nishad said that his priority is not the number of seats but the victory of the alliance.
He said that since the formation of the alliance, NDA has achieved historic successes and this time too the aim is to register a bigger victory than before. All the allies are discussing how to make each seat winnable.
Apna Dal (S) leader and minister Ashish Patel said the atmosphere of the meeting was completely positive and cordial. He told that the National President of BJP listened seriously to all the issues raised by the allies.
Ashish Patel also clarified that at present there has been no formal discussion on seat sharing. His party has been a part of the NDA for the last 12 years and its aim has always been to ensure victory and not just demand seats.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) national general secretary Trilok Tyagi also said after the meeting that the final decision on seat sharing will be taken at the appropriate time.
He said that at present the entire alliance is making election preparations on all the assembly seats of the state. On some seats, BJP’s election symbol will be lotus, while on other seats the allies will contest with their respective election symbols. Election preparations and organizational strategy for the entire state were discussed in the meeting.
