India’s first pedestrian overpass has been built by Travelers MMRDA at Mahalaxmi. 90 percent of its work has already been completed. Mahalaxmi railway station, Metro-3 station and Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk monorail station will be connected by a single skywalk. This traveler is built on a single walk. After the commencement of this integrated interchange route, the time taken to change between stations will be reduced by approximately 20 minutes. What are the special features of this project?
- Mahalaxmi railway station, Metro-3 station and Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk monorail station will be connected by a single skywalk.
- About 90 percent work of the project has been completed.
- The length of the skywalk is 283 meters and width is 11 meters. It has 6 travelers whose total length is 176 meters and 2 passenger lifts.
- About 4,500 passengers will be able to use this skywalk every hour.
- This project will reduce the time taken to change between different transport systems by about 20 minutes.
