NDA MPs' taunt on Rahul, session ruined by arrogance!

Lok Sabha proceedings have been adjourned indefinitely amid uproar in the monsoon session of Parliament. Union Minister Giriraj Singh took a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that due to the stubbornness and arrogance of one leader, the entire session was turned into a farce and crores of rupees of the country were wasted.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticized Rahul Gandhi over the opposition's protests. He said that a 'capricious' and 'weird' leader has turned the entire month into a farce. Referring to the inclusion of monkeys in the opposition's protest, he asked whether Rahul Gandhi has a team of monkeys and whether they are going to perform stunts on the road.

Calling it shameful, Giriraj Singh asked the Congress to bow its head and feel ashamed. He alleged that due to Rahul Gandhi's stubbornness, Parliament is not functioning and crores of rupees of the country are being wasted.

Giriraj Singh also reacted to the alleged 'purification' havan performed after the rally of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani. He said that Kharge is a senior and respected leader and he respects him.

However, he said that the allegations made should also be seen from another perspective. If there was dirt on the field and it was cleaned, it should be seen in that context. Through this statement, he tried to give a different perspective on the allegations of discrimination being made by the Congress.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan targeted the opposition for disrupting the proceedings of the House. He said that gradually the opposition has made it a tradition to not allow the House to function. According to him, the opposition feels that if the House does not function, it will be its victory.

Chirag said that this kind of thinking is not right in democracy. He alleged that opposition MPs are happy after disrupting the House and are gradually losing the habit of working while sitting in Parliament.

BJP MP Arun Govil accused the opposition of wasting the entire session. He said that the opposition has made the proceedings of the House useless. He said that the kind of language being used during the protest is crossing the limits of civilization.

According to Govil, the opposition should take care of the dignity of Parliament. He said that the people of the country will themselves understand what kind of politics the people behaving like this are doing.

Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, reacting to Rahul Gandhi's statement, said that Lok Sabha is a platform for discussion and the discussion should take place after listening to both the sides.

He said that if the House functions without discussion and without listening to each other, it will have no meaning. He clarified that the Lok Sabha cannot run according to the wishes of any one person. This is the platform of the entire country and here all parties should get an opportunity to express their views.
