MP Ujjwal Nikam's reaction has come to light regarding the proceeding of the trial against 6 accused present in Pakistan in Maharashtra's 26/11 attack case. While talking to IANS, Ujjwal Nikam said that for the first time in the country, the credit goes to Home Minister Amit Shah for the facility provided through the law to conduct trial against 6 terrorists present in Pakistan. I believe that the Indian government has done a good job.

Ujjwal Nikam said that an application has been filed in the court on our behalf against six Pakistani terrorists that according to our new law, they should be allowed to present evidence in the court against these six Pakistani terrorists.

Proclamation order has been issued by the court on our application. We want it to be published in India and Pakistan. We will give its evidence to the court. We have a lot of evidence against six terrorists including Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Sajid Mir.

The process of trial in absentia against the accused present in Pakistan in the 26/11 terrorist attack case has progressed. This will be the first case of in absentia trial in a terrorist case after the implementation of the Indian Civil Security Code, i.e. BNSS, 2023.

Now Mumbai Police and the prosecution will demand that the case be tried in absentia against all the accused. This case will be heard on August 21. On this day itself, the court can decide whether trial should be started in absentia against the accused or not.

The terrorist attack was carried out on the night of November 26, 2008, which continued till the next day, November 29. Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who had come from Pakistan via sea route had attacked many places. 166 people were killed in this terrorist attack, while a large number of people were injured.
