Speaking at the 66th annual conference of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Gadkari explained all these plans in detail, as he said, now traffic violations will be directly linked to the license records. That is, now if you break traffic rules, it will have a direct impact on your driving license. What will happen is that in this proposed system, violations of traffic rules will be recorded and some points will be deducted from the driving license. Not only this, if these penalty points exceed a certain limit, the department will also have the right to suspend or permanently cancel the license of the concerned driver.

Meanwhile, there will be some positives in this system. This is not limited to just penalties, but license holders who drive responsibly by following traffic rules will also be rewarded. Drivers who have a clean record are likely to be given special discounts by insurance companies. It is not clear yet what kind of reward this will be.

Giving a ticket once will not be enough to stop this. Apart from this, more steps will be taken. This system will be used for this very purpose. Through this, all dangerous activities like crossing speed limit, breaking signal and running away will be recorded simultaneously. Those who commit these mistakes will be kept an eye on. If his behavior does not improve then strict action will be taken against him.
