This film of National Award winning director Vishnu Mohan has been named 'Operation Ganga'. 'Operation Ganga' is the name of India's rescue mission, which was started after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. Under this mission, thousands of Indians stranded in Ukraine, including a large number of students, were brought back to the country.
The film is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan, who is known for directing the devotional blockbuster 'Meppadiyan'.
'Operation Ganga' will be a high-octane survival thriller drama which, apart from Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, will also star Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, actress Bhagyashree Borse and actors Parthiban and Adil Hussain.
The shooting of the film is currently going on in Georgia and it is considered to be one of the most ambitious films of Mohanlal's career.
The film is being produced under the banner of 'Sri Gokulam Movies'. Action director Si Young Oh, who has worked in 'Dhurandhar' and 'Kill', will choreograph the action scenes of the film. The music composer is Shashwat Sachdev, who is now giving the music of 'Operation Ganga' after the success of the pan-India film 'Dhurandhar'.
Big names are also included in the technical team of 'Operation Ganga'. The cinematographer of the film is Miroslav Kuba Brojek, who has shot blockbuster films like 'Pushpa 1' and 'Pushpa 2'. The film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan, while Baiju Gopalan and V.C. Praveen are co-producers and Krishnamurthy is the executive producer.
