Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers in view of Ganpati Mahotsav, Western Railway has decided not to take jumbo block on the suburban railway section on Sunday, 13 September 2026. This decision of Railways is expected to provide relief to lakhs of passengers traveling in Mumbai and surrounding areas on Sunday.
According to the official information released by Western Railway, in view of the increase in the number of passengers during Ganpati Mahotsav, no jumbo block will be taken on Sunday. Due to this, local train services will operate normally on the suburban routes of Western Railway.
Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek said that on Sunday, September 13, all suburban train services will run as per the scheduled time table. Passengers will not have to face any changes or possible delays in train services due to the jumbo block.
During Ganpati Mahotsav, a large number of devotees visit various places in Mumbai. In such a situation, this decision of Western Railway is being considered important for the passengers. Railways has appealed to passengers to plan their journey as per the prescribed timetable.
