Three workers died after a wall collapsed at a rubber company in Palghar district of Maharashtra. The workers were having breakfast at the time of the accident. Two women also died due to wall collapse in Barshi. A terrible accident occurred in Palghar district of Maharashtra on Thursday.
The wall of the storeroom of Tina Rubber Company on Vikramgarh Road of Wada Police Station suddenly collapsed. At the time of the accident, many workers were sitting nearby and having breakfast. Three workers died after being buried under the debris. As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and started rescue and relief work. The police have taken possession of all three bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Further investigation is ongoing.
According to the police, the accident happened around 10 in the morning. Workers were having breakfast at Tina Rubber Company. Meanwhile, the wall of a nearby storeroom suddenly collapsed and many people were buried under the debris. After the incident, people present at the spot immediately started trying to remove the debris and rescue the workers. But, three workers died after being buried under the debris. The deceased have been identified as Keshav Valku Gunguna, a resident of Moha village in Vikramgarh, Meera Gawali, a resident of Vasuri, Vikramgarh and Ranjana Dilip Komb, a resident of Komb Posheri in Wada.
