Indian women's Kabaddi team won the gold medal by defeating Iran 37-34 in the final. The Indian women's Kabaddi team also won the gold medal in the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Congratulating the team that won bronze in squash, President Murmu wrote on Instagram, “I heartily congratulate Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar on winning the bronze medal in mixed doubles squash at the Asian Games 2026. Your partnership and dedication has shown the strength and spirit of Indian Squash.”
The President also congratulated the Indian team for winning silver in the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team event.
