Let us tell you that Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut had given a strong reaction to the murder of Thane party leader Pradeep Purnekar. Sanjay Raut had demanded immediate arrest of Eknath Shinde faction leader and former Thane mayor Meenakshi Shinde and husband Rajendra Shinde.
Sanjay Raut had alleged in a press conference that the murder of Pradeep Purnekar was a 'contract killing', the conspiracy of which was hatched at Meenakshi Shinde's residence in Neelkanth Tower. Responding to this demand, Shaina NC hit back.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC told news agency IANS, “Sanjay Raut has a new logic and this logic will backfire for him. He says that if the name comes, arrest Meenakshi Shinde. If we accept, then their leader's name is included in the Disha Salian case, then will Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray be arrested?”
He said in a sarcastic tone, “If we look at the truth, Sanjay Raut's name comes up every day, he should always sit in jail somewhere.”
He said, “And we are not afraid of the statement we have given. Because Meenakshi Shinde has not done anything wrong. Well, you will have to think a lot about Disha Salian's case. In the case of Mithi River Cleaning and your financial regularities.”
Shaina NC said that Sanjay Raut makes some allegations every day, but there is no truth in his allegations. Meenakshi Shinde has not done any wrong, hence Shiv Sena stands with her.
