The incident happened on the sets of the reality show 'Dhamaal with Patni Patni Aur Panga Season 2', which will be available for the audience soon, and the sudden fire caused panic among the staff working on the sets. The good thing is that no one was hurt because people were immediately evacuated from the spot. All the actors and staff are safe.
The fire spread to the adjacent set of 'MTV Hustle'
Mumbai Fire Brigade was immediately called after smoke was seen around 4:45 pm. The fire brigade declared the fire a level-1 fire at 3:58 pm. According to initial information, the fire broke out in the main shooting zone built for 'Pati Patni Aur Panga 2'. The fire quickly spread to the nearby set of 'MTV Hustle'. Firefighters immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Big loss to the set even before the show was telecast
This shocking incident happened at a time when the reality show was all set to go on-air. In just five days, i.e. on October 10, 2026, the show was to go on air in a big event on 'Colors TV' and 'Jio Hotstar'. However, the makers are already facing a major crisis due to the major damage caused to the set due to fire. Considering the time taken to rebuild the sets, it is highly likely that the shooting schedule will be delayed for some time. An official statement will be issued soon by the channel and producers regarding whether the telecast dates of the show will be changed or it will be released to the audience at the scheduled time.
