Speaking to news agency IANS, SP MP Ramashankar Rajbhar said, “There is nothing wrong in expecting. But you must be seeing that for the last 15 days, nothing is coming out in this regard from the Samajwadi Party or the Congress. Everyone should think that this means that the alliance has been finalized, only the announcement is yet to be made. Our leaders will also announce it when the time comes.”
While reacting to the statement of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, the SP MP raised questions on the statements made on the basis of caste and religion. He said who is Owaisi to decide whether Abdul will lay the carpet or rule.
Rajbhar asked that if Abdul is not going to lay carpets, then for whom has he been laying carpets till now? He also asked under whose influence such statements were being made. Leaders should consider what impact statements based on caste and religion have on the people of the country.
Ramashankar Rajbhar also expressed doubt on the news of DMK supporting the Central Government on the Delimitation Bill. He said that South India could suffer the most due to the intention of the Delimitation Bill. In such a situation, he does not have confidence that DMK, which does politics in South India, will support this bill.
Rajbhar said that DMK had strongly opposed the delimitation bill last time. In such a situation, there is doubt about the possibility of standing in his favor this time. He said that if the government brings this bill, it will be its Tughlaqi decision.
The SP MP also targeted the government regarding the proceedings of the Parliament. He said that despite the House functioning for 19 days, it could not function properly even for an hour. He said that now further instructions are awaited from the party leaders on this issue.
Rajbhar warned that if the government brings the delimitation bill, it will have to face criticism. The government is not working in the interest of the public, due to which the public is also facing problems.
