Re-upload Dia Mirza's video!

Bombay High Court has given an important decision regarding Bollywood actress Dia Mirza. The High Court has ordered the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to re-upload Dia Mirza's video. Actually, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza's appeal to not burn crackers on Diwali and to avoid pollution was a heavy burden for her. Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had released a video of Dia Mirza as part of its pollution-free Diwali campaign.

In this, the actress was appealing to people to avoid air and noise pollution caused by firecrackers, but after the objection of Mumbai BJP President Amit Satam, BMC removed her video from its social media account. Now the Bombay High Court has expressed deep pain and displeasure in this matter. The High Court has directed BMC to re-upload Dia Mirza's video.

During the hearing on this matter, the bench of Justice Girish Kulkarni and Justice Dr. Neela Gokhale said that they are uncomfortable with the statements of some political leaders. The High Court said in clear words, 'India is a secular country.' Also reprimanded political leaders for their statements. Bombay High Court directed BMC to re-upload the removed video of Dia Mirza on social media.

The Bombay High Court said, 'India is a secular country… How can a person be prevented from celebrating a festival or participating in an awareness campaign because he belongs to another religion?' The court also made it clear that banning firecrackers does not mean taking away the right to celebrate the festival from the people. The court said that film personalities took initiative to protect the environment without any selfishness, but the opposition to it is unfortunate and uncomfortable.
