Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met and interacted with the Air Warriors of the Indian Air Force at Bagdogra Airfield. During this, he praised the bravery, courage and dedication of the soldiers.
He said, “I have come not just to talk to you formally but to talk to you from the heart. The bravery, courage and dedication of our Air Warriors is amazing. Our Air Warriors are always ready for every challenge. Your dedication is our biggest strength.”
Rajnath Singh said that this area of Bagdogra holds a special and important place in the security system of India. This area is also very important from strategic point of view. He said, “Your deployment here directly means that you are acting as a strong shield for the security of the eastern region.”
The Defense Minister said that nowadays the security scenario has changed a lot, big complexes have been created. War is no longer limited to just border firing. Now it has become very broad. He said, “This includes proxy wars, cyber attacks and even narrative management. The enemy often avoids direct confrontation.
Tries to take advantage of our weaknesses. The enemy tries to create doubt in the minds of the local population and soldiers by spreading misleading information through social media.”
In such a situation, your role is not just that of an ordinary soldier but you have to maintain civil awareness and cyber resilience simultaneously.
He said, “It is only through your vigilance and discretion that we can foil every design of the enemy. No matter how modern the technology is, if the soldiers do not have discipline and courage, then the technology itself is useless.”
He said that our forces are known for discipline. Not only in India but also in many countries of the world, when you meet military officers there, they appreciate your discipline. Rajnadh Singh said, “Discipline is what transforms you from an ordinary soldier to an extraordinary warrior. Your discipline is your biggest strength. The more you connect with the local people, the more the enemy's conspiracies will fail.”
Rajnath Singh said that today our country is progressing rapidly. Today, anti-drone system is also being made here. Better equipment is also being prepared for the soldiers. He said, “We are proud that our soldiers are actively contributing to the adoption of technology made in India. These changes will prepare us for the future. In the times to come, we have to make our forces more technology driven.”
He said that the entire country is in your team. Every single citizen of the country. You should always have confidence in this. Congratulating the new Air Chief Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, he said that this is a big event after he takes over the command of Air Chief Marshal.
Explaining the meaning of Ashutosh, he said that Ashutosh means Lord Shiva, Shiva is of simple nature and also takes a fierce form, so the safety of the enemies lies in that they do not have to see the fierce form of Air Chief Marshal Ashutosh Dixit.
