Now no 'Manthara' and 'Marich' evil eye will be allowed to fall on Ayodhya: Chief Minister!

The day after the grand and historic Deepotsav in Ramnagari Ayodhya, on the holy festival of Diwali, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Nishad Basti near Ramghat Halt and shared happiness with the people standing at the last rung of the society.

In this special 'Diwali Milan Programme' organized on Sunday, the Chief Minister presented Diwali gifts and sweets with his own hands to Dalit families, sanitation workers, boatmen (Manjhi community) and councilors doing excellent work.

During this, he said that the invaluable contribution of all of them in making the Deepotsav successful and keeping Avadhpuri clean deserves to be recorded in gold letters. From the platform of this intimate event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also gave a very strong and clear message regarding the safety and dignity of Ayodhya.

Chief Minister Yogi said, “We will have to take a pledge that in the times to come, no 'Manthara' or 'Maarich' should cast an evil eye on the glory of our Ayodhya. Any evil attempt to defame Ayodhya again and loot its glory will not be allowed to succeed. Now bullets will not be fired on Ram devotees in Ayodhya. Now no one can use sticks and sticks on chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' here, nor will Panchkosi, No one will be able to impose any ban on 14 Kosi or 84 Kosi parikrama.”

While praising the sanitation workers of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said, “Yesterday, more than 30 lakh lamps were lit during the Deepotsav. Lakhs of devotees from across the country and the world continued to throng the roads and ghats of Ayodhya till late night. But this morning when I came out, I was surprised to see that all the ghats and roads were completely clean. There was no dirt or disorder anywhere. I would like to thank all the sanitation workers of Ayodhya for this wonderful work and dedication. I heartily congratulate you.”

Appreciating the contribution of the sailors at Saryu Ghat, the Chief Minister said, “When we were performing the Maha Aarti of Saryu Ji, our sailors were working with great promptness. On every festival, Amavasya and Purnima, lakhs of devotees take bath in Saryu. The strong contribution of our sailors, boatmen and Nishads in protecting the safety and faith of the devotees is highly commendable.”

Recalling Tretayug, the Chief Minister said that just as Lord Shri Ram had built a barricade against the demons by taking along Nishadraj, Mata Shabari, monkeys and bears, similarly every class has contributed in the construction of today's 'New Ayodhya'.

He said, “Today's Ayodhya is actually a reminder of Tretayuga. The coming generations will be grateful to you that when the new Ayodhya was being built, our ancestors also made their invaluable contribution.”
