The festive season has already started, and we have begun seeing teaser videos and images from multiple brands about their upcoming launches. Many of them are launching updated versions of their existing models in the market. Here we have a list of two such cars that are confirmed to be launched on 6 October 2026. One of them is an SUV, while the other is a sedan.
Skoda Slavia was unveiled last month, and since then, we have seen multiple television commercials and social media posts featuring the sedan. It is one of the popular sedans in the market, and it recently received an update. As part of the update, Skoda has made several changes to the exterior. It now comes with a revised front end, including tweaked headlamps, a connecting LED bar, LED DRLs, new alloy wheels, revised tail lamps, bumpers, and more.
On the inside, the cabin layout remains more or less the same. The major differences come in the form of a larger 10.24-inch driver display with integrated turn-by-turn navigation, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, leatherette upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats, seat ventilation, a seat-massaging function for rear passengers, a 360-degree camera, and more.
The Skoda Slavia facelift will continue with the same 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engine options. The 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine now comes with an all-new 8-speed automatic transmission, along with the usual 6-speed manual. The 1.5 TSI engine will be offered with a 7-speed DSG transmission only. Skoda has already started accepting bookings for the Slavia, and the official price announcement is scheduled to take place on 6 October.
While the first one is a sedan, the second launch happening on 6 October is an SUV. It is the Honda Elevate, and the brand has already released a teaser video confirming the same. The SUV will come with a host of cosmetic changes on the outside. It will get tweaked headlamps, LED DRLs, a connecting LED bar, a revised front grille and bumper, new alloy wheels, and revised tail lamps with connecting twin LED bars at the rear. The rear bumper is also expected to be revised.

The SUV will be offered with features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker audio system, a wireless charger, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, keyless entry and push-button start, connected car technology, a rear parking camera, and more.
Apart from this, we expect to see feature additions such as a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, a new colour theme for the cabin, ventilated seats, and more. The Elevate will also get a decent number of safety features, including ADAS, or Honda Sensing as Honda likes to call it, along with six airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, and more.
The SUV will continue to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. The SUV will be offered with manual and CVT options.
