2026 Honda City Facelift: Is This The Most Value For Money Variant? [Video]
This video showing the Honda City facelift has been shared on YouTube by Adizone on their channel. It starts off with a vlogger showing the newly updated model City V variant, and he states that it is one of the most value-for-money variants in the lineup. Following this, he mentions the pricing of the City V variant, which is Rs 13.29 lakh. Previously, this variant was priced at Rs 12.99 lakh, making it Rs 30,000 more expensive.
Next up, he starts showing the exterior design of the V variant. At the front, he mentions that it gets the all-new front fascia, which is sleeker and more aggressive than before. It features new single-barrel projector headlights with LED DRLs on top. The main difference between the higher variants and the V variant is that it does not come offered with a connecting light bar in the middle. Instead, it gets a clear plastic trim with a chrome strip inside.
He then continues and mentions that the grille of this sedan has also been changed, and it now gets a gloss black grille on top and a honeycomb-pattern grille on the lower part. Additionally, there are air vents on both ends of the bumper, and there are no fog lamps on either side. After the front, the vlogger starts showing the side profile of the vehicle and highlights that it looks almost the same as the facelift variant.
As for the unique part about the V variant, it gets 15-inch multispoke alloy wheels, like the previous model. However, they are finished in a dark grey color, which adds to its sporty appeal. The higher variants get a 16-inch set of diamond-cut alloy wheels, which boast an aero-blade-style design. Moving to the rear, he shows the new clear LED taillights. Apart from them, the rear bumper has also been changed.

Following the exterior walkaround, the vlogger then shows the cabin of the new City V variant. He mentions that it comes equipped with the same dashboard layout and features as the previous model. It still gets the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control with haptic dials, reverse parking camera, and a three-spoke steering wheel with controls for infotainment and cruise.
It also gets a standard instrument gauge cluster with a small MID in the middle. Additionally, it also features a push-start/stop button, Type-A ports at the front, and Type-C ports in the rear under the rear AC vents, along with four speakers. Apart from these, the overall cabin theme is black and beige, and the V variant gets fabric upholstery all around the cabin, including the seats and the door pads. What makes the V variant special is that despite being the second-base variant, it comes with camera-based Level 2 ADAS.

As for the powertrain, the new City comes with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated, four-cylinder petrol engine. It is capable of making 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual and an optional CVT gearbox.
The Honda City V variant is a very value-for-money variant because it comes offered with almost all the necessary features. It misses out on the sunroof, two tweeters, bigger alloy wheels, and the connecting LED DRL at the front. However, apart from these, there is not much else needed if you want a fuss-free vehicle.
