22 big decisions of CM Samrat, good news for the people of Bihar

Patna. After the formation of the new government in Bihar, the first cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary was very important. A total of 22 agendas were approved in this meeting, whose impact will be visible on the development, security, education, tourism and infrastructure of the state in the coming times.

Big boost to religious and tourism development

Baba Hariharnath Temple Corridor located in Sonpur will be developed on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. About Rs 680 crore will be spent on this project. 15 acres of agricultural land will be given to the Tourism Department for tourism and religious facilities in Tarapur area of ​​Munger.

Major improvement in women safety and police system

1500 women policemen will be given scooters, 3200 policemen will get motorcycles. This will help in strengthening police reach, patrolling and women safety system.

Big investment in education, technology and research

Rs 305 crore approved for IIT Patna Research Park, Rs 39.01 crore approved for Incubation Center Phase-2, 75 ITI institutes will be made modern training centers under the Pradhan Mantri Setu Yojana.

Urban development and new township planning

11 greenfield satellite townships will be developed in the state, currently there will be control on land purchase, sale and construction in these areas.

Airport and Forensic Infrastructure

1.35 acres of land for permanent civil enclave of Darbhanga Airport, DPR will be prepared for new airports at Sonpur and Ajgabinath Dham (Rs 5.06 crore), 50 acres of land acquired in Punpun (Patna) for National Forensic Science University and Lab (Rs 287.17 crore).

Legal, education and institutional development

7 acres of land will be given free of cost for Chanakya Law University, 20 acres of land for NIFT Begusarai will be given to the Industries Department, land will be provided in rural areas for new government seed production centers.

Infrastructure and Disaster Management

Rs 172.80 crore for ERSS and Police Data Center building in Rajiv Nagar (Patna), 62 meter high hydraulic aerial ladder machine to extinguish fire will be purchased (Rs 18 crore), road accidents now declared state disaster, victims and families of the deceased will get financial assistance.

Irrigation and Water Management

Under the Bansagar Agreement, Bihar will get 5.75 MAF water, Jharkhand will get 2 MAF water, 5.86 hectares of land will be purchased in UP for Kaimur Ganga Water Irrigation Scheme.

Other important decisions

New registration rules will be implemented in 2026, elderly people above 80 years of age will get special facilities in the registry, the land of seed centers present in cities will be used for other development works. 873.60 acres of non-forest land will be given to the environment department for roads, construction and projects.
