26 year old woman hit by a speeding Aston Martin car in Hyderabad, case registered against Rajya Sabha MP's son

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a speeding Aston Martin in Hyderabad. The car driver has been identified as Lingamaneni Sanjush, 21, son of Rajya Sabha MP Lingamaneni Ramesh. The police have accused him of careless driving, although he has not been arrested yet.

Let us tell you that the deceased Bharti Mukhi used to work in a lifestyle clothing shop in Inorbit Mall. On August 16, she was crossing the road near her workplace. During this time, a speeding Aston Martin car allegedly hit him. The accident happened in front of the mall in Madhapur area. The collision was so strong that Bharti suffered a serious head injury and lost a lot of blood. He was immediately taken to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills in the same car, but the doctors declared him dead.

Accident happened while returning from lunch

According to the police, before the accident, Bharti had gone to the nearby ITC Kohinoor area for lunch with her 26-year-old colleague Pooja Ashok Alon at around 3 pm. Both of them were returning back to their workplace after having dinner. Bharti was hit by a car while crossing the road in front of the mall. After the accident, her colleague Pooja informed the store manager Ashwin Kumar about the incident. After this the police was informed.

Police issued notice to the accused

Cyberabad Police has described Sanjush as the person driving the car. His father Lingamaneni Ramesh is a businessman and a Rajya Sabha MP and is associated with Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party. Madhapur Assistant Police Commissioner C.H. Sridhar told that notice has been issued to the accused. He said that the case falls under the category of bailable offense and has a maximum punishment of less than seven years, hence no arrest has been made at present.

Case registered under section 106(1) of BNS

Police have registered an FIR in this case under section 106(1) of the Indian Justice Code i.e. BNS. This section deals with death caused by negligence or an act in which there was no intention to kill. In the FIR, there has been an allegation of speeding and careless driving of the car.
