29 agendas approved in Samrat Cabinet meeting, great news for the people of Bihar

News Desk. Bihar government has taken many important decisions related to development and public interest. A total of 29 important proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Many major decisions related to mining, tourism, employment and administrative system have been taken in the meeting. These decisions of the government are expected to benefit the common people, youth and development related sectors of the state.

Sand availability in rivers will be studied

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to assess the availability of sand in major rivers like Son, Kiul, Falgu, Morhar and Chanan. An amount of about Rs 2.32 crore has been sanctioned for this. Through this study, it will be found out how much sand has re-deposited in the rivers after the monsoon. Only after the report comes, the decision regarding further sand mining will be taken. The objective of the government is to ensure availability of sand and conduct the mining process in a systematic manner.

Vaishali’s Buddha Memorial will get a new look

In the cabinet meeting, a major decision has also been taken regarding the operation and management of Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Smriti Stupa being built in Vaishali. Approval has been given to form a committee for its better operation. Besides, a society has also been formed for this. The government plans to develop this historical and religious place as an international level tourist centre, which will promote tourism in the state.

Relief in stenographer recruitment for youth

The Cabinet has approved changes in the recruitment rules related to the post of Stenographer in the Civil Defense Department. Now the minimum age limit for direct recruitment to this post has been reduced from 21 years to 18 years. With this, intermediate pass youth will also be able to apply for government jobs at an early age. Apart from this, the probation period has also been reduced from two years to one year. With this, the process of regularizing the service of selected employees will be faster than before.

Employment and development will gain momentum

In the Cabinet decisions, emphasis has been laid on increasing employment opportunities, strengthening tourism and better management of natural resources. The government believes that these decisions will give impetus to the development work in Bihar and will help in providing the benefits of the schemes to the common people.
