38 year old bowler took a hat-trick in T20I, took 6 wickets, breaking Australia's record and now Spain defeated this team

Spain wrote the script of a big win in the T20 match against Luxembourg. It defeated Luxembourg by a huge margin of 141 runs in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier C 2026. The hero of this victory of Spain was 38 year old left arm fast bowler Mohammad Kamran, who took 6 wickets alone in the match with a hat-trick. The impact of Kamran’s fiery balls was that Luxembourg lost by a margin of more than double the runs it scored.

Kamran took 6 wickets with a hat-trick

Mohammad Kamran took 6 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs, which also included his hat-trick. This is the best performance of his T20I career. Spain’s Wasim Akram took 5 out of 6 wickets for the top order.

Mohammad Kamran, who looks like former Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram with his bowling action, took 6 wickets, out of which 5 wickets were of Luxembourg’s top batsmen. Thanks to the havoc wreaked by Kamran, the entire Luxembourg team was all out after scoring only 65 runs in 15 overs and lost the match by 141 runs. Earlier, Spain, batting first, had scored 206 runs in 20 overs.

Before crushing Luxembourg, Spain had broken Australia’s record

On the strength of Mohammed Kamran, Spain has achieved the feat of defeating Luxembourg just after breaking Australia’s record. Recently, Spain had broken Australia’s record of winning the most consecutive matches in international cricket. Australia had won 20 consecutive international matches. Whereas Spain broke his record by winning the 21st consecutive match.
