Continuous expansion of infrastructure continues
Women's participation in the workforce has also increased more than three times. We are moving rapidly towards becoming a trillion dollar economy. Uttar Pradesh benefits from infrastructure, logistics, industrial development and good governance. Multimodal logistics and industrial corridors, electronics and semiconductor ecosystems and data-center infrastructure continue to expand. Uttar Pradesh has 60% of the country's total expressways, 17 airports, India's largest railway network, metro network, India's first rapid rail, India's first inland waterway, two dedicated freight corridors and logistics hubs, providing global-standard and seamless connectivity.”
Brainstorming on investment possibilities
Let us tell you that 'UP-Japan Investment Meet-2026' started in New Delhi on Wednesday regarding investment and industrial partnership between UP and Japan. In this, CM Yogi Adityanath and central government ministers along with officials of major industrial groups of Japan will brainstorm on investment possibilities. More than 200 industrialists, CEOs, business leaders and policy makers from Japan will participate in this meeting which will run till 23 August.
Yogi reached Delhi to attend the session
CM Yogi Adityanath reached Delhi late on Tuesday evening to participate in the first session. Yamanashi Prefecture Governor Kotaro Nagasaki, who was leading the Japanese delegation along with Union Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, was welcomed.
The program will run for five days
Invest UP's five-day program from 18th to 23rd will be held in Delhi, Lucknow, Agra, Greater Noida and Varanasi. UP Japan Investment Meet will be held in Lucknow on 21st August.
