Rovman Powell Missed on 6 Sixes in an Over: It is very difficult to hit six sixes in an over. Only a few players in cricket history have been able to accomplish this feat. Major League Cricket 2026 saw an explosive match between Seattle Orcas and Los Angeles Knight Riders. In this match, the ace batsman Rovman Powell, who plays IPL for KKR, surprised the fans with his explosive batting. Powell played an inning of 37 runs in 11 balls. He had a chance to hit six sixes in the over but he missed it by just a few metres.
Powell hit 5 sixes
Rovman Powell was at the crease in the 17th over of LA Knight Riders’ innings and Dasun Shanaka of Seattle Orcas came to bowl. Powell hit a six on the very first ball and his storm did not stop even in the next four balls. After hitting five sixes in five balls, fans were expecting that Rovman would hit a big shot on the sixth ball also.
Powell tried to play the ball outside the off stump towards the leg side but the ball took the upper edge of the bat and went into the air. Otniel Bartman took a brilliant catch and took the wicket of Powell. Rovman missed the sixth six. Powell hit 1 four and 5 sixes in his innings of 37 runs. The video of his innings is going viral on social media and fans are disappointed that Powell could not hit six sixes.

LAKR won the match
LA Knight Riders registered 196 runs on the scoreboard. Apart from Rovman Powell, Andre Fletcher scored 40 runs and Colin Munro scored 30 runs. Seattle Orcas had a target of 197 runs but they were all out after scoring 115 runs. LAKR won the match by a huge margin of 81 runs.
