65 year old woman caught doing black magic and tricks on judge’s chair, CCTV footage revealed


Courts are considered to be temples of justice where only legal arguments and evidence decide the decision of a case, but a shocking case has come to light from Chikballapur, Karnataka which has shocked everyone. People use various tricks to change court decisions in their favor, but here an elderly woman crossed all limits and tried to perform black magic directly on the judge’s chair. Based on the complaint of the Chief Administrative Officer of the court and CCTV footage, the police have arrested 65-year-old woman Manjula and have sent her to judicial custody for 14 days. CCTV footage exposed the game of superstition. This whole matter is from Chikballapur district of South Indian state of Karnataka, where this strange incident happened in the court of Additional Senior Civil Judge. Two days ago, when the footage of the security cameras of the court premises was checked, a woman was seen acting suspiciously inside the courtroom. According to police officials, the footage clearly showed that the woman had thrown white mustard seeds on the judge’s chair and table, which appeared to be part of some secret ritual or trick. Immediate action on the court’s complaint: In this serious matter related to the dignity and security of the court, the Chief Administrative Officer of the court, Netra, immediately lodged a written complaint in the local police station. As soon as the complaint was received, the police came into action and, showing promptness, arrested the accused woman Manjula. Taking strict action against the accused, the police have registered a case under the Karnataka Prevention of Superstition Act i.e. Karnataka Prevention and Eradication of Inhuman Evil Practices and Black Magic Act 2017. After being produced in the court, the woman has been sent to jail for fourteen days in judicial custody. What was the woman’s real motive? According to initial media reports and police investigation, it is suspected that the woman was performing this ritual with the intention of changing the outcome of the ongoing hearing in a pending civil case in her favor. However, police officials are yet to officially confirm which specific legal case she was linked to and why she took this superstitious step. This incident has once again raised fresh questions on the security of the courts and the vigilance maintained during the trials, while the police is investigating the matter in depth.
