7 km long bypass will be built in UP, good news for these districts
News Desk. The government has taken a big step to end the long standing problem of traffic jam in Bilsi Nagar of Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. Construction of about 7 km long bypass from Badaun-Bijnor road to Bilsi Nagar has been approved. After the completion of this project, the pressure of heavy vehicles inside the city will reduce significantly and people will get relief from the jam.
The entire area was troubled by the problem of traffic jam.
Due to the daily movement of trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles in Bilsi Nagar, there is long traffic jam in the main market and intersections. The situation becomes even more serious especially during school hours and office commute. Many times ambulances and emergency services also get stuck in jams, due to which people have to face a lot of trouble.
Demand for bypass was rising for a long time
Local traders, drivers and residents had been demanding this bypass for a long time. He said that the city roads are not capable of handling the pressure of increasing traffic. Due to continuous jam in the market area, business was also getting affected and customers faced difficulty in commuting.
The project got official approval
In view of the ever increasing problem, the government has given the green signal to this ambitious project. Now heavy vehicles will be able to use the bypass route directly instead of passing through the city, which will reduce the traffic pressure inside the city to a great extent.
Bypass construction work will start soon
According to the information, the process of bypass construction will be started soon. This route will play an important role in connecting Badaun, Bijnor and surrounding districts. Local people believe that this will not only end the problem of traffic jam, but will also make travel safer and easier.
Cost and other development work
Approximately Rs 73.76 crore will be spent on this bypass project. Along with this, a plan is also being made to reconstruct other dilapidated roads in Badaun city, so that the local people can get better road facilities.
