70 year old man murdered his son, also shot his daughter-in-law; The whole village is stunned

A heart-wrenching incident is coming to light from Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a 70 year old man shot his 36 year old son dead. The accused father did not stop here. He also fired at his daughter-in-law. He has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to the police, the incident was carried out due to a land dispute. The accused father is still absconding. Many police teams are busy searching for him.

 

The incident took place in Sitapur village of Bindki Kotwali area. According to the police, a land related dispute was going on in the family for the last few days. On Wednesday, an argument started between daughter-in-law Manisha and mother-in-law. Then Ram Khelavan’s son Avnish Verma (36) tried to intervene. Meanwhile, he had a fight with his father Ram Khelavan. Bindki SHO Dinesh Kumar Mishra said that in a fit of rage, Ram Khelavan took out a licensed double barrel gun from his room and fired directly at his son.

The bullet hit Avneesh in the shoulder. When 26-year-old Manisha moved forward to save her husband, a bullet hit her in the stomach. As soon as the sound of the bullet was heard, there was panic in the entire village. The villagers ran towards Ram Khelavan’s house. On reaching there Avneesh and his wife Manisha were found soaked in blood.

 

Both were immediately admitted to the Community Health Center of Bindki. Where both of them were referred to Kanpur considering their serious condition. According to the police, Avneesh died during treatment. His wife Manisha is undergoing treatment in a critical condition. Police have sent the body for post-mortem.

Fatehpur Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said that information about firing was received around 10 am on Wednesday. The accused opened fire on his son and daughter-in-law with a licensed double-barreled gun over a family dispute. The weapon has been confiscated. Teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
