In this film, Kartik Aryan played the role of Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar. His character and acting in the film were appreciated by the audience as well as the critics. Mammootty received the Best Actor Award at the 72nd National Film Awards for the Malayalam film Brahmayugam.
