84KM new railway line will be laid in UP, good news for these districts

News Desk. Another big step is being taken towards strengthening the infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. A plan for a new 84 km long rail line has been prepared to connect the international airport being built in Jewar, Noida, with the rail network. After the completion of this project, passengers from Western UP to Purvanchal will get the benefit of direct and fast travel.

Passengers will get great relief

Actually, there is no direct train service from Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi and other Purvanchal cities to Jewar Airport. Passengers will have to either get down at big stations like Ghaziabad or Anand Vihar and travel further by road. But now after the construction of the new railway line, this problem will end to a great extent.

New line on Palwal-Chola route

According to the plan of Railways, this new rail line will be developed between Palwal and Chola railway station. Jewar airport will be connected to the main railway network through this route. This connectivity will benefit Delhi-NCR as well as many states of North India.

Survey completed, DPR in final stage

According to railway officials, the survey work of the project has been completed and the detailed project report (DPR) is in the final stage. The project, costing around Rs 400 crore, is expected to be approved soon. As soon as the approval is received, the construction work will be started rapidly.

Easy journey from Purvanchal directly to airport

After the construction of this railway line, it will be very easy for the passengers of Purvanchal to reach Jewar Airport. This will not only save time but will also make travel more convenient and economical. In the coming time, this route can prove to be a strong link between air and rail travel.
