These latest updates clearly show that the 8th Pay Commission is continuing its negotiation and administrative work. The commission was initially constituted by the central government on November 3, 2025 and was given 18 months to submit its final report. Till date the Commission has completed 10 months of the given deadline. However, there has been no official announcement yet regarding any changes related to final fitment factor, salary increase or pension.
