Bhopal: Minister Krishna Gaur performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 90 lakh.
Bhopal . Madhya Pradesh’s Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur on Saturday performed the Bhoomi Pujan of various development and construction works costing more than Rs 90 lakh in Govindpura area. On this occasion, he said that the rapid development work taking place in the area is being done with the aim of increasing the convenience of the common people and improving the standard of living.
Minister of State Krishna Gaur said that Bhoomi Pujan of road asphalting work was done from 9A to 9B of Saket Nagar at a cost of about Rs 40.23 lakh, which will strengthen the infrastructure of the area and the traffic will become more easy. He said that Bhoomi Pujan was also performed for the development work of Dhanvantari Park located in Amrai in Ward No. 54 at a cost of approximately Rs 12.53 lakh, which will be helpful in providing a clean, green and healthy environment to the citizens.
Minister Krishna Gaur said that the residents of the area are getting great relief from works like construction of roads, strengthening of drainage system, installation of street lights and beautification of parks. As a result of these development works, while on one hand the traffic system has improved, there is also a significant improvement in the level of cleanliness and safety.
He said that this is not just work done at one place, but roads, drains, parks and other construction works are being done at various places in the entire ward at a cost of about Rs 90 lakh 60 thousand. He said that this development work is the result of the clear policy and intention of the government, in which living up to the trust of the common people is the top priority. Local citizens expressed happiness over these works and said that due to the efforts of Minister of State Krishna Gaur, the problems are being resolved at a fast pace.
