Huge fire in Lucknow, visible from 10 km away; Deputy CM reached the spot

A massive fire has broken out in the slums located in Vikas Nagar area of ​​Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Many fire brigade vehicles are trying to control the fire on the spot. The fire is so fierce that the plume of smoke is visible from 10 km away. Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak is present at the spot. According to initial information, about 200 slums have been destroyed by fire. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to continuous explosions in cylinders and freezer compressors.

 

 

Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said that the fire has taken a very frightening form. More than 20 fire engines are busy extinguishing the fire. Efforts are going on from all sides to extinguish the fire. Fire department officials and Chief Medical Officer are present at the spot. An ambulance has also been called to the spot. The injured will be taken to the hospital and given the best medical care. Saving people’s lives is our priority.

The Deputy CM further said that orders have been given to investigate the incident. Fire department officials are visiting each hut to ensure that there are no casualties.

 

 

 

How did the fire reach the slums?

According to officials, the fire has been controlled to a great extent. There is no news of any casualty or burning as of now. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to speed up relief and rescue operations.

 

According to media reports, a fire broke out in an empty plot near Ring Road on Wednesday afternoon. But due to strong winds it reached the slums. Due to presence of inflammable material here, the fire took a huge form. Relief and rescue operations were hampered due to the explosion of small gas cylinders inside the slums. The sound of continuous explosions spread panic among the local people.

District Magistrate Visakh ji said that due to the fire, the family members got separated from each other. The administration is trying to unite them. There is no information about any casualty yet. Police Commissioner Amarendra K. Singh says that in the initial assessment about 200 slums have been affected. The further situation is being assessed.

Akhilesh Yadav demanded investigation

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav demanded an investigation into the massive fire that broke out in the slums. He wrote on Twitter, ‘The government should immediately provide food, water and immediate treatment to the injured to the victims of the massive fire that broke out in the slum of Terhi Pulia area of ​​Lucknow and alternative arrangements should be made for accommodation. After listening to the side of the poor, there should be a deep investigation from every aspect of this big fire and every apprehension about the people who are not being found should be removed.
