Coimbatore: A horrific van accident has occurred in Valparai, Tamil Nadu. 10 tourists have died in this incident. Due to a sharp turn on the road, the vehicle rolled down and met with an accident. A police official said that the vehicle went out of control on Valparai-Pollachi Ghat Road and skidded from the 13th turn and went down till the 9th turn.
The tourists traveling in the van were residents of Malappuram.
The van was badly damaged in this accident. According to the police officer, all the people traveling in the van had come from Malappuram in Kerala. However, it is not yet clear whether they were members of the same family or friends or acquaintances.
Injured tourist admitted to hospital
According to the police, the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for proper treatment, where their condition remains critical. The investigation into this matter is ongoing. The relatives of the dead and injured are being traced. Efforts are being made to inform them about this.
